We love Grasshopper but think it is a pity that Rhino-Users without knowing Grasshopper can't profit of the amazing stuff people around the world are developing.
That is why we developed Adaptive Parts Environment.
Our mission is to make the power of Grasshopper accessible to all Rhino users.
By using Adaptive Parts Environment Grasshopper-Definitions can be wrapped into small applications with an integrated UserInterface so anybody can use those tools without knowing Grasshopper.
We envision Grasshopper-Experts around the world creating awesome tools and share it them to improve workflows for all.
Automate workflows, create truly parametric objects which store their logic, integrate third-party-developments... Possibilities are endless.
We just started but our idea is to bring Grasshopper to a next level.
Don't see it as a tool for parametric design any more - see it as a software development platform.
INSTALL
To Install the plugin use the YAK PackageManager integrated in Rhino, search for AdaptivePartsEnvironment, download and install the plugin. Alternatively you can use our installer (uses PackageManager as well) which you can download here:
INSTALL WITHOUT ONLINE-PACKAGEMANAGER
Some companies restrict the use of Rhino3Ds YAK-package manager. There is a workaround to install our plugin by adding a local YAK-depository and placing the file there. Please see our article how to do so and dowload our YAK-file here:
After installation you will need to choose a licensing model. For any licensing you will need to register as a user. For all license models except the Free-License model you will need additionally a buy a license key at our webshop and register this license key into your Rhino3D CloudZoo Account.

Types of AdaptiveParts

LiteAdaptiveParts
LiteAdaptiveParts are limited in their functionality and size. You can compose them of only by using max 60 Standard GH-components and can have max. 1 input. Any License can view and manipulate those. They can only be created by the CreatorLicense. -
RegularAdaptiveParts
RegularAdaptiveParts are unlimited in their functionality and size. You can compose them of any number of any GH-components. They can have any number of inputs. For manipulating those a Creator, Designer or Corporate License is needed. Free Licenses can not manipulate RegularAdaptivParts. They can only be created by the CreatorLicense. -
CorporateAdaptiveParts
CorporateAdaptiveParts are same as RegularAdaptiveParts unlimited in their functionality and size. You can compose them of any number of any GH-components. They can have any number of inputs. The only differences are that they can only be created by the CorporateLicense and they can be manipulated by all Licenses incl. Free.
Types of License Models

CREATOR
The Creator License is the one to go when you want to develop AdaptiveParts for yourself, for your colleagues or to share with other Designers. You can manipulate and create AdaptiveParts without limitations.
If you are not sure you can request a Trial license that offers fully functionality and is valid for 30 days. -
DESIGNER
The Designer License is for users who would like to improve their workflows but have no clue about grasshopper. You can use any AdaptiveParts created by a Creator within your team or any other Creator providing their developments. -
FREE
The Free License is for users who want to see provided Metadata within AdaptiveParts and manipulate LiteAdaptiveparts or CorpAdaptiveParts. -
CORPORATE
The Corporate License will allow manufacturers of products (windows, claddings, jewelry, design products...) to develop fully parametric representations of their products and hand it to clients and users who won't need a paid license of AdaptiveParts to manipulate them. -
EDUCATIONAL
The Educational License features same functionality as Creator License but has a reduced price and requires a proof of evidence. You can use this license as well commercially. -
EDUCATIONAL LAB
The Educational Lab License features 30 seats of Educational Licenses meant for universities, schools and similar institutions.
RENTAL OR PERPETUAL
All our Licenses can be purchased as rental license for 1 year duration or as perpetual license. Only for Educational License we do not feature a perpetual license.

SUPPORT : is provided through our online helpdesk, in McNeel-Forums or by mail.
